Our mission

To connect teens across the globe and give every teen a professional home for their wins — whether it's STEM, art, music, dance, or anything in between. Every win counts.

The origin story

Why LinkTeen
had to exist

When Shwasa MV was 13, in 8th grade, she tried to create a LinkedIn profile. She had real things to show — research, competition scores, years of work. LinkedIn turned her away: too young, it said. You have to be 16.

But the achievements were real. So was the question that came next: where was she supposed to put them?

She looked around and saw the same gap everywhere. Teens coding apps, performing music, winning science fairs, making art, dancing on stage — incredible work, with no single place to hold it. LinkedIn was built for adults. Instagram was built for photos. Nothing took a teen's wins seriously, no matter what kind of win it was.

“It doesn't matter if you won a national competition or just learned your first chord. Both deserve a place to be celebrated.”

That gap became LinkTeen — officially founded and registered in August 2025, during freshman year of high school. The vision: a safe, non-profit, globally connected professional home for teens, built by a teen who ran into the exact problem she set out to solve.
